Since moving to England just over a year ago, I’ve discovered the delight of venturing off the main roads into the little villages that dot the countryside. At the heart of many of these picturesque villages is a small church that has stood for hundreds of years, a reminder the role churches used to play in holding these communities together.

She has appeared on TV adverts, in countless magazines and, most recently, on giant billboards, yet Alexis Foreman still admits to having insecurities about her body.

The dance world is a rich and diverse field to work in. As a contemporary dancer I work on projects which require me to use my talents in devising work as well as performing. The dance area I am a part of comprises mostly small to mid-scale projects which last any length of time from 1 week to 6 months.

I am an artist, painter, fashion designer, illustrator, sculptor and poet. My world is busy, imaginative, chaotic, colourful, playful, experimental. I draw, paint, design and make clothes, bags, toys, cushion covers, take part in various fashion shows, work back stage as a fashion dresser, work as a brand manager, and help at ‘Designer Sales’.

I am writer based in Ealing, South West London. You can usually find me hidden away in a book stack somewhere in the London Library. I have had poetry published by Peterloo Poets and Foyle Young Poets of the Year and have just finished my first novel which is set during the aftermath of a tsunami. I am represented by WME literary agency who will pitch my novel to publishers at the London Book Fair in a few weeks' time (eek!)*.

It’s dark; dingy; loud and until recently smoky. It would probably scare the heck out of most people, but its home to me. I’m a Music Photographer and so I spend a lot of my evenings at various gigs in clubs and pubs around London, I specifically shoot Hard Rock and Heavy Metal music. I fell in love with the genre of music shortly after leaving school and I suppose it was inevitable that, once I’d taken up photography, I would end up combining two of my passions.

As a textile designer who specialises in weave, I carefully choose the yarn (material, colour, weight, function) to be woven into my fabrics. Each and every yarn has been chosen with thought. It is hard not to believe that there is a creator when the universe is beautiful beyond words. Behind every design, there is a designer. The world is God’s creation; everything, from the skies to the flowers, is designed by Him.
